Wiring Dilemma
In the process of designing my system i came upon the revlation and made the descision today that:
I will have a 4 channel amp, wired into 2 channels supporting the two front speakers. (main ones that ill really hear, being as its a tC.
I will have a second, two channel amp to power the rear, infinitely inferior rear speakers.
I have a 4 channel rca that was gonna be used when i was gonna power all 4 speakers from the 1st amp. But since thats changed how should i go about this...?
I was thinking i send the front signals to the first amp(front speakers) and the rear signal to the rear speakers' amp. But what i thought is that what would be sent to the rear that wouldnt be sent to the front and would i miss it? so i was thiking if theres another, better way to do this?
Just wanted to see if you guys had some inpuit...
Thanks, Cesar

yeah, youre right, n/m.
But, i have another question that i might as well address in this thread.
My new setup for the tC will include a set of Infinity kappa components in the front (90W rms) and a set of reference coaxials in the back(45W rms).
My original intention was to power the fronts with a 4 channel amp that will provide 100 watts to each speaker. For the rear speakers I am planning to purchase a small amp that will provide 50W to each rear speaker.
With this setup, all speakers are adequately powered to their rms wattages.
Will this create a conflict since the rears are about half as powerful?
Thanks, Cesar

Use 2 amps for the simple reason that u will then have more power for each speaker in your car, it is true that u wont miss anything from the front to the back as far as what sounds u hear where so you could just take your front inputs and put them to both amps. The draw back to this is that any tuning that u do such as fade or ballance has to be done through the amp and not the deck. 2 amps lets u control everything from the deck and u get mroe power to your speakers, clearly a better choice. More money is involved this way but u may as well do it right the first time.

why not just use a bigger 2 ch. amp for the fronts(say 100w x 2), instead of a four ch amp that you will bridge into 2 ch?(50w x 4 bridged into 100w x 2).
or better yet, just use a good four channel amp and turn down the gains for the rear speakers.
if you insist on your first (more expesive) way just use splitters on the front rca's into the 4ch amp.
well, you see, the thing is that i already had the 4ch. amp, but since im getting this new tC and selling my old car, the speaker setup changed, as did the power demands. In any case, these two amps together prob cost less than the big amp of which you speak might.
And fear not, theyre reliable amps...
