So im bored and want to do a cheap mod. So I was thinking bout putting leds surround the outside of my subs. Could I wire them to them amp? Also how would I do this and what would I need?

 

sound logical.but wont the amp blow up your leds? expert help needed before i try that.

 

you will need resistors and a relay to get it to work properly... the size of the resistors depends on the size of the leds

 

yea dont want a fire...what size do you think is good or set up should I say?

 

You can get pre-resistored LEDs off ebay, they're quite good.

 

thats correct, make sure the led's you pick up are goodtogo for 12v....you can wire them to your amp power input, or if you have a capacitor, right at the cap...if the led's are not 12v compatable..its more like you blow up the led's....
just make sure when you pick up the led's that they are already stepped for 12v..
