Default xB Electrical Problem, Please Help!

OK, so I was replacing my a/c control lights with LEDs. They were resistored up fine, and everything worked perfectly- all the lights lit up fine. Then after I repositioned the LEDs a few times everything went black. Now my spedometer, a/c controls, and presumably my automatic shift base no longer light up.

My first suspicion is that I crossed the wires by accident and blew a fuse. Where is the fuse for those lights, and what amperage is it?

Any other help is greatly appreciated.

check your car manuel.
compare the wires you touched\used with the diagram of the fueses that go with them.
its prolly a fuse, my friends car did the same thing. for some reason they connect different things with teh same fuse. like the gauges witht eh radio or the power windows with the reverse light. its confuseing but if you compare the diagram with the wires aforementioned you can find out what blew (if anything did that is)
or you could just go to the fuse box and start looking...

Also, the clock/indicator lights still work.

I'm also adding a reward. Free bB badge or set of red cold cathodes to whoever can solve this problem for me.

I wanna say it's the ACC fuse. When I had a bad LED short, it seems like that was the things it took out with it...

I'm guessing it's the fuse for the gauge circuit. It's #18 in the instrument panel fuse box on page 218 of the 2004 owner's manual. That circuit (eventually) supplies power to the speedometer backlights, A/C controls and A/T backlight but not to the "idiot lights" and shift indicator.

That exact same thing happened to me. I had soldered some LEDs and resistors into the AC control light bulb holders and the wires crossed. Blew a fuse. I said screw it and went back to the little red rubber thing.
