I just installed Sirius in my car, and we had to tap into the wires.

Did you use the stock h/u? If so.... Do you just match colors? Does the display work properly?

P.S. sorry about the post I should have done more investigating first. I found that if I wanted to do this correctly I am going to need to pay somewhere around 280 for the Scion/Pioneer kit... Now I would like to know if I can do it with what I have.

I have a stock head unit, but I didn't even take the head unit out.

We tapped into the same wires that are part of my under dash LED lights and my lighter. I am not really sure what else they connect to. I will get Don on this thread so he can explain the rest.
