Default Avic D3 and XM question

Ok, so I got my Avic-D3 installed with XM, steering wheel controls, MP3 adapter, and amp for subs. Here is my question..

I have checked on all settings.. radio, dvd, mp3 player, and xm... When and only when I am in XM, I lose all but the front driver speaker and the subs.

Anyone have any ideas? The guy at the shop that installed it isn't sure why this is happening but is looking into it. I thought I would post the question here to see if anyone else has ran into this.

send it back, the xm has nothing to do with audio output(in terms of the amp pushing the speakers)
sounds like a manfuacture defect
