holy carp! i ordered a pair of 9006 JDM TYTE Yellow foglight bulbs yesterday, and they were at my door today!

install was easy and they look okay.

but my question is, will they get brighter? and why didn't i get my LED keychain??

 

 

Aren't they based in CA which is probably why you got yours the next day (I'm assuming you live in CA). And yes, after two days they will get brighter than when you first installed them as they have to 'break-in'. I ordered my HyperWhites so it'll take a while for them to get to the east coast

 

i think scott is waiting on a shipment for the keychain if i remember correctly from another thread.

i bet what is happening is your eyes adjust to the bluer/yellower output, making you think they are getting brighter. I could be very wrong, but none of my aftermarket bulbs have ever had to break in...just my .02

 

Coated (yellow) bulbs generally aren't brigher then clear bulbs.

 

I'll post pics of my new lights on the first day of install and 3rd day and see if they seem brighter.

 

i've already received them. i'll take pics tomorrow night.
