Air bag questions
I am considering baggin my box and have a few questions. After searching through the forums, I have read that some people have clunking sounds and camber issues with the ez street front struts. Does anyone know if this problem has been fixed by the company? I have wanted to bag it since I got it, but I don't want to drive around with something that sounds ghetto fabulous and that wears out tires monthly. IF they haven't, is there another reasonably affordable route for bagging the front? I am looking at a kit that comes with 1/2 inch valves. Some people have suggested that these valves are too large for the XB because of the speed it throws the box. Anyone have any personal experience or opinions about this? My box is my daily driver and I want to be able to lay it down when cruising, and raise it up when navigating the Tennessee goatpaths. The kit comes witha 3 gallon tank that will mount under the box. Has anyone had any success mounting a larger tank under the xb? I looked under and there appears to be a good amount of room. I think that is all of my questions for the time being. Thx in advance,
Drew

The only real choices besides the airlift junk is Universal Air or Air Runner, and no its not fixed....I don't care what Airlift says.
The UA kit really needs fab work to get as low as the other two, and the price tag on Air Runner is enough to stop your heart, with manual valves.
I had 1/2 and they are way way way to big. Honestly 3/8 fast path is too fast, you could easily get away with 1/4 valves. But 3/8th aught to be ok. There is a 1001 ways to do the tanks, just have to experiment.

When does the noise happen? is it just driving along, or during hard turns? Because it is a daily driver, I am not interested in draggin frame or anything. I just need something that is halfway reliable and I really don't want to hack up the box if possible. I ran hydro's for years on many different rides, and I don't want anything that is that much of a hassle again!
Just do it. If u had hydros on different cars b4 u'll be happy with air. I had air on my daily. I drove 60miles a day without a single problem. The clunk on the easystreets isnt even that noticeable. Tire wear was normal for me, nothing unusual.
IMO:
Dont go 1/2"
and get either a Vair 480 or Air Zenith compressor. Anything else is too loud.
get nothing under 5 gal.
and no need for gauges, I didnt need em.
Dont get that ugly plexy box cause u WILL regret it, I sure did. AVS Baby!
All My junk was mounted underneath with no problems rain or shine, sunny or cold.

Would the UA bags and brackets be the best way to go? I have been reading about "a coming fix" for the ES struts, and it really don't look like it is happening. I was reading about someone on another Scion forum with the "new" ES struts and they are still clunking and even sticking sometimes. I don't care to piece together what I need to do it right the first time if that really is the way to go....
