Does anyone in the bay area have any stock springs we can borrow so we can take measurements and things like that. Let me know. Thank you in advance for all your help.
You can borrow my stock springs. I will need them back eventually. Like Roger said, if the all-wheel drive xB comes this way. If you're coming to the meet on the 18th in Tracy, I'll bring them then. If not maybe I can meet you in Milpitas next friday (17th) or something.

Hey Mark,

My bB is dropped almost 2.5" and I scrape coming out of the shop driveway at anything less than a 45 degree angle at 2mph. I hope you weren't planning on delivering hoses to us in your bB!

I may swing by your shop tomorrow to pick up our order. You can compare ride height if you want.

OK well hmm that cant be good if you're scraping everywhere. My driveway is pretty insane steep. We will have to perform further testing before we decide how low we want these springs to be.

I'm looking for the same info, I want to soften the ride of my xB. I was thinking about Echo springs, but found out that they are a tad longer up front and seemingly not much softer.
I did find some info on the Tein japanese site , S.Tech springs applications, using the Vitz and bb.

I'd really appreciate any info you can give me once you find out the specs.

I'll need ....
free length
compressed length
spring rates front and rear
inside diameter
outside diameter

Thanks

OK well i just installed some Tanabe DF-210's on my bB last night and the drop is pretty darn nice. The front lowered 2.2 and 2.0 in the rear. The car will still get a tad lower when the springs settle. I think it is low enough for me. I dont know if you guys still want to lower it 2.75-3". That would be incredibly low and you would just scrape everywhere.

I like the ride. They feel just a tad bit stiffer then stock but still a very confortable ride. Cornering is great and is much better then stock. Not too much body roll anymore. I drive 100+ miles everyday so these springs are good for the commute.

turbo,

do you think you would be able to drive out to the meet in tracy tomorrow? i know i, and a bunch of others, would be interested in seeing the drop. i'm on spy 2inch, but would like to get lower.

if you can't make the meet, any pics you could post would be cool.

thx
