Creaking
I just got my Goldlines installed this morning. Looks great, but I was wondering does the occasional creaking sound I hear when going over bumps ever go away? I know it's because the coils are touching but I was just curious if it will do that forever.
could be a few things...
did you put back any seating plates and in the proper position...(they stop squeks and creaks at the ends of the springs...)
did you have any spring wraps to put on...they stop squeks from the spring hitting its self...
is the noise coming from the front or rear???

I just put my Goldlines on last night, and oddly enough my
front right was also making a squeeking sound that turned into
a clanking sound. Turns out the 17mm nut on the top of
the strut wasn't seated all the way, and the 25 miles I
put on the wheels on springs to seat them loosened it up.
Pop the rubber cap off and tighten both left and right struts
down again.
Make sure you put the two cables back on.
And make sure your lug nuts haven't come loose. Lug nuts
can come loose on aluminum rims really easily in the first
hundred miles or so. Make sure they are torqued to proper
tension.
I'm really enjoying my Goldlines, really nice ride!

It will hold up. I rode with a loose strut for almost 3 weeks. All I had to do was take it off, have a friend hold the cap and compress the coil, and I tightened the bolt down all the way. After you have it on for a week or two, you may want to tighten it down again.
