I don't race, and i don't really care about handling as long as it is better than stock, which would be improved with a lower profile tire. I just want to run a 17" wheel with a 40 tire and no fender gap at all, even all the way around, maybe tuck a bit in the back. Can you put some pics up so we can see what we are looking at here? Words dont mean a thing without pictures.

hmm. they look awfully expensive. alltho nice. too much height adjustment up front. looks liek a nightmare to get both sides equal ride height.

you dont have to use stock rear shock. only a dum dum would reuse the stock shock on a 3 inch drop. a heavy duty short stroke replacement is cheap and plentiful. as well as koni yellows or kyb adjustables.

No different than any other setup. Count the threads on one side and then do the same to the other. car sits equal.

Nice write-up Bryan.

Not to sound too redundant, but I'd love to see pics too.

I think you missed something. D2 says not to use the spring perch to adjust ride hieght. I do not know why they would thread the strut body to the top like they do but the directions say not to turn the perch upwards. My friend has done this on his 240 and had no problems yet but he doesnt drive that car much really.

yeah don't raise the perch but you could lower the perch.

it's actually better bcause no matter how low or high you go the spring rate and shock rate stays the same. as wwell as shock travel.

This thread might as well be locked because the person who started the thread doesn't feel like showing us what we are asking. I have a pic of the coilovers, SWEET, but I want a pic of how you have them installed, that is what people want, we want to see results. I don't like to be rude but it seems as though a lot of people talk and nobody can backup what they say. Why say you have something like that and not even show us, do you want to be the only one with them? i just dont understand. help us out here man, or im going somewhere else.

Im not here to entertain you. I was one of the first people to put air on my car and helped out many others from this site since then so stop acting like a rude little punk. Since I installed my coilovers Ive worked 14 hour days, everyday. Some people have a family to take care of and bills to pay, not worry about posting pictures when some whiny people just want to complain about what you had to contribute at the time.

It seems that you could be intellectually challenged considering that your mind pondered the thought that I "wanted to be the only one with them". Do you really think that I would go to the trouble of taking those pictures, uploading them into my computer, upload them to a server, organize them and then create this thread? Genius I say, pure genius.

Anyone with half a brain or even a clue as to how coilovers for the xB work could deduct from simple logic that this product is one of the superior sets offered for the car.

My next day off that I will possibly be able to wash and photograph the car will be Tuesday, so until then keep the comments to yourself.

For the rest of you who have been wanting pictures, Im sorry I havent had the time. I will try to get them up this week. I will say dont expect anything spectacular- we all know that the car will only go so low before the tires in the front hit the fenders while turning.
