Here are few quick pics that I took. Sorry, but it was getting dark and I have my stock wheels on it right now for winter. The car is sitting up to a liveable hieght for winter driving right now. When the warmer weather comes around again, Ill lower the front more and possibly the rear another half inch and of course put my 17s back on.

thanks guys. Yes, Im pretty happy so far. I figured out why my car was being bouncy and handling a little weird on hard right hand turns. My drivers side rear tires had about 11psi in it, DOH! I never checked all the air pressure when I put my stock wheels back on a month ago.

There is some creaking going on in the front end though that I have to chase down. My guess is that I didnt lube up the pillowball mounts with good lube. They were quiet for the first 10 days but a few rainstorms later they started creaking. I coated them lightly with some cheap grease. Im going to pull them out and lube them with Mobil 1 chassis lube. It only creaks when brake really hard or take off hard. Basically major weight transfer.

By the way, one thing I forgot to mention is that if you want to be able to adjust the dampener in the front of the car youre going to need to cut a half circle out of that metal plate and plastic that we all love so much. You guys know the one that makes it a pain in the ___ to take the 3 12mm nuts off the top? I used a cutting wheel on my dremel and cut it a half circle between the size of a quarter and half dollar. Looks fine when youre done and if you make a nice cut it looks factory if you use some fine grit sandpaper to smooth the plastic out in the cut.

Did you read any of his posts?

He has said a few times how low it will go. It will go so low in the front that you cant turn the wheels. He even said in the last post that he was going to lower it more after winter.

I currently have the sportline springs from eibach and the only different i notice right now is that your rear is a little lower, making the whole car level from front to back. Also, if it can go lower, how well does it ride with it lower?

I am ordering the Mod Concepts - Balique wheels, the ones on (LIP)'s box. I will be getting the 17" with a nice deep lip. I want to know if the rear will tuck a little bit so that i may purchase the OTG wheel spacer and cambers shims to give it the VIP look that van has achieved. Thanks.
My rear end does look like its sitting a little lower. The rear end will go lower by half an inch or so. The picture on the first page that shows the rear end show the amount of threads left on the bottom before it wont go any lower. The thing is, once you start going that low, the suspension travel is almost gone in the rear end due to the factory design. Right now my rear end rides fine with the dampeners set on 30 or so.

The front has about 2 of my fingers of gap between the fender and the wheel . (my fingers are skinny by the way, seriously, like girl skinny) The front will go way lower, but more than 3/4 to 1" lower and you might have some clearance issues with the front fenders and plastic lining when take turns and hitting bumps while turning. Like I said I will probably lower the rear another 3/8ths of an inch and the front another half inch. I have to put my 17s back on and check out how it drives with them on.

For your question of tucking the rear tire, that all depends on the wheels offset. I would ask bBOXD or Rishie (I forget his username at the moment, I think its endless4life?) about what offset they would run. Those guys are pretty good at giving reccomendations for wheel fitment.

that looks good considering your still on stock wheels. throw on some low offset 15-17 inch rims, or maybe some 18s. make it look siiiicker

I thought Stechs only go down 1.7 inches or so? My TRDs went almost that low and Im two inches lower than the TRDS.

Therer is supposed to be 3 degrees of camber adjustment up front. Im close to 2 degrees now. Hard to tell with the hubcaps. Adjusting camber while on the ground.... hmm I dunno how easy thats going to be. Ill have to take a picture of the upper mounts. Its not gonna be easy to get the 5mm allen wrench in there.

The only thing I had to trim was a Quarter-sized half circle out of the piece of metal and plastic that overhangs above the strut tower. It took me 10 minutes with a dremel. You really probably wont need to even cut that though if you use the longer adjusters, maybe just a small notch to allow for the rod to go down into the strut.

I know that these cars are light (in comparison) but can you get stiffer rates than 4/3, some thing like 6.5/5?

yeah, plan on using slicks every day???
that is way too stiff for a 2500lb vehicle
4/3 is stiff but liveable

i had a mixed set of springs @ 3.2/3.2 and it was wonderful (Tein F, Espelir R)

i am still waiting for a price from a local shop
hope to have these very soon

I'd just want to be able to swap them out for a AutoX or whatever. That's why I asked.
