They seem to be mellowing out some. At first they were harsh. I mean HARSH! But, I figured they would be, due to the stiff spring rates. They still beat me to hell but, I love when you go over a big bump and you can hear them valving :D (or, actually, that's the tires rubbing). I have an appointment in a week for an alignment.. by then I hope to have my height dialed in. It corners a lot better now, obviously (I had slushy H-Techs on before these), but I still think a Progress rear bar is in my future

BTW, I kept track on how mine are set up, in-case people need help on where to start. Mine came with no instructions, so I had no idea where to start for height.

I have the rear seats up 8 full turns from bottom and the fronts are 7-1/4" from top of shock tube to bottom of the hub assembly bracket (confirmed). And the front springs are 4-1/8 from top of tube to bottom of lock ring. I backed off the rear shocks 3-1/2 turns and the fronts 2 turns. I had read where the adjustments on the shocks didn't make any difference, but it made a TON of difference for me. When I had the rears as stiff as they'd go (originally) I thought I'd put a wheel on wrong, because it felt like something was out of round, it was so bouncy.

I have them at as much negative camber as they'll allow . The bolt is hitting the tower, so it's not all the way over. I'll take a pick and report in after the alignment at what we decide at that time. I think I'm going to lower the rears just a tad more too.

I don't have them, but I can tell you what Brian and others have said.

These are RACING coilovers. Unless you have no problem with a fairly harsh ride, I would look elsewhere. The products appear to be of excellent quality, but the spring rate is very high and produces a pretty harsh ride.

installed. here are the pics. i can adjust down 6 more inches in the front and about two more inches down in the rear. (of course doing this will cause my car to be inoperable)

my front coilover setup is pretty much adjusted all the way UP. while still having the bottom black screw base bracket thingy.

i am trying to figure out if i need this if i dont i can lift the front another 4 inches without having any troubles. id like to lift it about another half inch to an inch. same for the back setup up about an half an inch or so to be happy.

about the D2 coilovers. inorder to adjust the height in the front you ahve to remove the wheels, AND unbolt the front brakes in order to adjust them up or down. it isnt that hard to do, just a pain in the @$$ when you do it a couple of times. the rears adjust like all other coilover sets, BUT the shocks can adjust up or down to make them larger or shorter! i havent seen this before, so i got excited.

here are the pics...

rear stock and D2's
