I was told this awhile back, I dunno.. I guess things changed since I was told this, or others just don't know?

" The struts are completely different from the previous gen struts. The ride is better and handling is improved, they will allow you to go a little higher, but not any lower. Did you see we are using your xA on our Scion page? Thanks again for the pics! "

When did you receive this information layedoutxa?

The new struts with the new top hat should go as low as the struts you are replacing. Basically rather than buy the struts then buy or modify your top hat I had Easystreet change the top hat and making the drop plate unnecessary.

Hopefully the new struts go lower than my old struts, because in that case I'm not gaining anything by trading. Do you happen to have a new picture of the latest struts?

I'll have to check and see when that email was sent to me.

You are gaining a product that will not fail and begin to clunk on you.

I didn't have a problem with the first set. I just wanted them to go lower. I drove atleast 18,000 miles on them.

Possibly, I'm grateful I was able to trade my old ones for the new ones. But the lack of communication has kind of made me a little upset, now that I paid for the fastest shipping to get them there and the new ones back. Now It's mid April and I'm ready to drive and I can't I didn't know there was a back order until a few days after I shipped my struts.

Then you will be lower than what he said and the manufacturer has fixed the problem you should be getting struts in the next week or so.

They are shipping for sure they are being tested now. Well over 70 sets to test though. Those who can not drive their cars are first in line then standing orders and finally on the shelf ready for new orders

Okay, sounds good. Hopefully Jeremy will get my my set also. I just wish I had better communication with him. I know he's busy, but just letting me know helps. It sucks not having a car LoL Thanks for your information.

They know because you posted up on here how you are waiting for them before you do the rest of the install. Steve and Jeremy do not miss things related to their customers and products.

Also I was referring to warranty claims and not recent new purchases like yourself.

I just wanted to say thanks again for the help and information. Just knowing anything helps. It has been 6months since I have driven my car. It seems like FOREVER! Thanks again to everyone, and Jeremy at Easy Street also!

I'm hoping the struts are shipping this week! Saturday is the 25th, I have been told "Struts are back up and will start shipping the 25th." We'll see. I NEED them badly.

    Anybody heard anything else?

Well, I heard other wise from a big distributor. Things didn't go down this weekend, and possibly, maybe this week.
