Okay. What I was told today, exact words.


"I was involved in a meeting this afternoon with our supplier, we will be able to ship in 2 weeks."

 

he told me he was going to a meeting about it on the 27th in a email. he never emailed me back to i called the next day and he said when i called it would be another 3 weeks

 

Sad to say it, but nothing ever changes at airlift it seems. lol

 

Actually things have changed that is why they are not shipping. The old way was ship it and warranty it when something bad happens, instead they test it before shipping and if it dies not pass then they do not ship.

Manufacturer has said they were ready to ship and then after bench testing it does not pass.

 

Well, hopefully 2 weeks from now, I'll have my struts and ready to roll. finally, but we'll see.

 

Any updates?

 

i got that email from the president of airride company apologizing for the inconvenience... it gave a time line in the email but it did not state when that time line was actualy starting so there was no real end date.

 

I've been told Friday (15th) Is when they are supposed to start shipping. We'll see.

 

They are bench testing units now for shipment upon completion of testing.

 

I'll state what I said on another board. "I just got off the phone with ES and was told it's going to be another 2 weeks of testing and then if that goes well, they can ship."

I don't know why there are so many different variations of what's happening.

Yes. I'm honestly very angry right now. After I was told TODAY would be most definite shipping day, I patiently waited 2 weeks to find out more BS! I'm very ____ing ____ed! I'm desperately trying to find some used struts or anything! I can't wait any damn longer! I've gotta do something

 

You were told 2 weeks because the supplier told them 2 weeks. The supplier got the strut to pass the first 3 tests no problem but the fourth one was a fail.

They finally have all 4 tests solved and they are testing them as fast as then can and shipping them out.

 

I'm glad you have more detailed answers, because no one else seems to know anything or want to take the time to mention it.

I was contacted today and told that the struts passed the final tests and are shipping next week for sure.

 

Yep they are shipping next week for back orders and warranty replacements.

 

that's funny cuz i contacted them last week and they told me mid this week they would be shipping.. but you know what, i dont even care anymore i will just be happy when they are at my front door, then the next day im calling out sick from work and finishing my install. "day 100 install finished"

 

actually my bad i miss read the email. it said mid next week they would know if they are ready for shipment. not that they were going to be shipped,,, whops...

 

Yes, I believe I had gotten the same email last week also. I mis-read it the first time, and a few days later I got excited and decided to read it again. It made more sense the second time. LoL

 

so what 4 weeks ago, you were told 2 more weeks, and STILL being told 2 more weeks?
