again, done with this but here is a pic showing that over 1/2 the coil contacts the perch with the vehicle all the way up. the 2nd pic is just a close up of the cut to show that it is in fact cut (it's 1/2 coil cut)...

saveacivic, again, I'm a newb to this, but how much of the OEM coil contacts? Is a lot more/less/equal to the cut spring?

i have to be quite honest and tell you i did mine the day after i got the xb, i never even looked. i hate (as you can tell) mis-information so i will have to leave this to someone else to answer for the day. however i will check my friends tomorrow when i get back from work. i will even take a picture of it and post it...
