Default Hard right turn = something rubs

WTF? This my bone stock daily driver '06 XB. Everyday I pull into a parking garage and hear this when I make the hard right through the garage....
Everything on the car is factory. Suspension, tires, wheels...everything.

Anybody have any idea what it is?

Have you taken the wheel off and checked the shroud on the disc brake to see if it is rubbing on the disc?

i keeed lol.... nah srs.. sounds like your brake shield is rubbing the rotor or you might have a rock stuck in the rotor area... take wheel off and inspect the brake system components...

I have this exact prob..except when I'm making hard left turns and driving regular (the noise comes from the passenger side making left turns). Took it in to the dealership and they took a look at it; jacked it up and checked the tire and rim for the wheel bearing (good); checked the brake pads and caliper and the dust shield (good, too); then they pointed to an area of the axle shaft (they said it might be the axle bearing). Still waiting on the SPO parts to see if they're right. Check yours out as well.

I'm having the same problem on my 04. I jacked up checked all componets nothing obstructing dust shield rotor caliper tight. at first i thought a bearing wearing out but then on previous vehicles it would constantly make a humming sound even when driving straight, not just with cornering. i did notice how ever when lifted my ride and car was on drive CV joint was making an audible clickin sound and looked as if had play. i'm assuming i need to change the rack pinion on the old girl. Now i've been hearing a sound from my rear drums; i'm hoping it is just brake pads warning me they need to be changed. It is definatly a constant humming sound so i hope it not a bearing.

hey all, well my prob got fixed with a set of new 17's. LOL! Found out after all the trouble with the dealership and me jacking it up that it was the passenger spokes that were snapped..three to be exact Krazy that I was driving for nearly a year thinking what the heck was the noise Hope if yours is the same as mine that a new set will fix the prob...good luck.
