Default Just got done with back bags

I just finished installing my rear airbags; they're Firestone 2500's with FBI brackets. I have the stock 15s and its 4 inches high at the back of the bumper. I took the shocks off to cut the bumpstops, and when I had the shocks completely removed, it was only a half inch lower. I read on here some of you were getting almost 2 inches lower by cutting the bumpstops? Anyone know what could be holding it back?

Thanks

Your tires aren't sitting in the top of the wheel wells with the shocks off?

Nope, it is still about an inch or so from tucking the wheel. I looked under it when it was down, and it looked like the bags were bottomed out. It was hard to tell, though, since I couldn't really get under there to look.

That is a badly done chop. On 15's i doubt you'll be able to tuck much of the wheel, but with out the shocks you should tuck alot of tire. I can tuck all my tire and about an inch of rim in the back before i start to hit the top of the wheel well, on 18's. I have airlift bags in the back, but it should be about the same. I've never measured my bumper to ground, but with shorter shocks, my exhaust touches the ground. Best thing I could tell you is put it on jack stand that take the shocks loose and jack the axle up until you find whats hitting. I am sure sure it will be pretty obvious.

This is a crappy pic but this is how i sat with the kit just bolted on w/ stock shocks.
