On the monroes how many of the bump stops are you to use?

Default On the monroes how many of the bump stops are you to use?

I"m going to finally install the ones in the rear
do you use the stock bumpstop?
or the ones provided?

I'm looking for an install guide too if possible

If you will be using the 5987 shocks that are engineered for this suspension design, you use the OEM plastic cover, bumpstop, cushions, etc. Just slide 'em off the old shocks and onto the new ones.

The only thing that is different from an OEM direct replacement is there is one thin hardened steel washer to reinforce the the hole in the mount ring that MUST be added.



If one uses the shorter SensaTrac shock because the vehicle is lowered, the installation is quite different because the shock is not engineered for this suspension design and can't use the usual bumpstops.
