Yes, another Rear Disc Brake post!
I am very interested in this brake kit my mom
lives on a very steep hill
and every time I go visit her I hate making my e-brake go all the way to the limit
just to make sure my box doesn’t roll down the hill hopefully with this kit I wont have to do that anymore I hate making my e-brake go all the way to the limit I like my e-brake to stay low.

Update! I have one more machine shop quoting the parts. Then I can figure out what the final kit price will be and when they will be available. I also need to know if you all are willing to modify your rear hubs, or if you would like modded hubs included in another kit price as a core charge for the stock ones to get shipped back to me. The the core would be returned, when the stock hubs are in hand and checked. I may start a list on who is wanting this conversion. As soon as I get the final pricing I will start collecting deposits for the first run, which will be about 20 conversions, as it looks from the emails, an PM's I've been getting. I also think I have the rusting issue figured out. I'm trying to get a couple local sign shops to supply me with masking dounuts, that will cover the pad surface of the rotor on both sides so they can be painted before installing them. This will make it alot easier than tryin to mask it by hand. I'm still tryin to get that done, so thats not 100% yet! So as of right now, I just wait for the last quote and I'll keep you all posted with any more info I have!
Rock on, this just keeps moving along. I can't wait for a price, so I can figure out what parts I need to sell to get them LOL
Modify Hubs? I thought there was a bolt-on bracket/hub spacer, right?

Yes, earlier in this post I asked if you all would rather modify the wheel hub, or the rotor. Most said the wheel hub they could do at home. So the conversion was made on modified hubs. Not a huge mod, but still has to be done. I'll see if I can find some pictures of what I'm talking about!

Man, these quotes seam like they are taking as long as the conversion. NOT! But anyways, I'm almost done with the quotes. I did order some new flexlines for the kit, because the ones I put on were some I bought for the first caliper and they are way to long and they bind up. It looks like I will be sending rotor masks with the kits so the hat and un-used portion of the rotor can be painted before installing them. This will eliminate having to hand mask everything. All you have to do is clean the rotor of dust, grease and or oil. Apply the mask dounuts on the rotors inside and outside and Paint! Remove the mask and have a rust free rotor when the install is done! This is something I should have done before I installed mine, but wasn't thinking about it when I did it. As soon as I get a final price worked up, I will let you all know! Looks to be under $800.00. But should know for sure in a few days.
