I am a mechanical drafter. I design housings for electric meters, propane meters, and substation capasitors.

As far as the wheels go......

The set of 4 was $440 shipped to my door. I will show you pics as soon as I get them. I should have them next Friday.

What size and backspacing did you get? Are they hubcentric? How much extra would it have been to have them polished? What size tires are you going with?

Can't wait to see the pics!

I already said size and offset, but I'm excited about them so I'll say it again.

I got 15 x 8" wheels all the way around.

Fronts are 5.25" backspacing or about 18-20mm offset.

Rears are 4.75" backspace or about 8-10mm offset.

Needless to say they will be DEEEEEEEEEEEP.

Tires will be an agressive tread 195/55R15 like the Toyo T1's, not sure yet on the tires though.

If you want a custom finish I recommend getting them from this place unfinished and you can take them to a local powder coater or chrome shop. Thats what they do if you want custom finishes.

They are OEM style steelies except for the custom offset, so they probably aren't hubcentric. That is ok with steelies though. The reason alloys are hubcentric has to do with the way they are made, the way steelies are made they don't need hubcentric rings.

You could probably use stockers, but I would get some 195/50/15s and stretch them babies on it. Would be hot. Keep updates with us because Im very interested!

Yes, basically these wheels are stock in appearance but the centers are pushed back to reduce offset and make dish. They are 8 inches wide as opposed to the stock wheels which are 6.5 inches wide but the stock tires could be stretched on them. I however am going with 195/55R15's.

It's possible that those would fit. The people to ask would be the people that sell them.

I am getting them in the standard color, matte black.

Be patient for pics. As I said, I won't get the wheels until the end of the week.

I found another company making custom steel wheels (www.diamondracingwheels.com). I was looking at a set of 16x8 but the back spacing only goes up to 5 inches. I noticed that ctruss ordered a 5.25 for the fronts and was wonderingif a 5 would work???? I really like the idea of the steel wheels...Can't wait to see yours Ctruss

All of Diamond Racings wheels look like NASCAR style wheels. They don't make any wheels that are OE replica style like I am buying.
