Default Color Keyed Wheels

I ordered my RSV1 (Clueless: Orange xB), ETA 3/2004. I'm still shopping for wheels. I was wondering if there were a set the forum would reccommend. I'd like to have them painted to match. Maybe a 3 piece wheel? :?

Example

Its not gonna look right with those....its almost like a parking cone orange on those konig's. The hot lava color is too unique to not have custom done.

Could be that the white balance is off.. they might be closer than it looks.

It's not like Scion invented a new color..

konig is a solid orange when the lava is a metalic and lava is more redish than just plain orange. We dont have too many orange cars.

you should look at getting a black wheel with an orange lip. an solid orange wheel would be overkill

Any brands you reccommend? I plan on having them color keyed to the car now that I know the color code. Also thinking about white walls tires. :?:

HRE = Expensive but bad ___ wheels
honestly if you want a black and orage wheel i would look into a wheel like nilo's(xbboy) Axis TC Evo's i wa origanally gonna get those and get them powder coated black then I was gonna paint the interchangable rings candy apple red. if you can find out the paint code for the hot lava xb then you can get them color matched exactly.

You can go a few different ways with that wheel.

have you decided what you are looking for: size, lip, color, etc.

on the hotlava i think the best thing to go with would be a dark gray, gunmetal, black, bronze. chrome would be too WOW, but would draw alot of attention away from the orange factor. IMO i was in the market for a orange car so i am getting wheels that compliment the orange.

i'm gitting the hotlava as well. i have no hookups (i.e. free wheels) but i have alot of ideals about what would look good on the rs1 so holla back

i personally would not go with these wheels b/c i like to be original and too many times these wheels have come up in decusion about " get the tc evo you can color match the ring" . do you know how many people are gonna try this? probably 1000 of the 2100 that have the rs1.0 that is not for me. dont get me wrong those are some bad azz wheels but too popular imo.
