DFWDJ- 20mm huh? Would you have had to roll the fender with 205/40 rubber?what are stacked shims? 2 shims compressed together?Again I'm new to this and want to do it right! I'm so used to the "simple" Hondas LOL.And Swartzauto who makes the 15 mm hub spacers? i was going to do the 9.53 mm hub spacers from otg and then buy a set of 5mm wheel spacers, or is this not a good idea?well thats all for now, you guys have been valuable so far!

Yeah, 2 10mm stacked. OTG has a package that comes with longer bolts so you can just stack them together. You may get away with it with the 205/40's. I was just barely rubbing, maybe 1 1/2-2mm. I wouldn't suggest wheel spacers unless your just putting them on for shows. Not good for everyday driving.

i payed $88

see man .. thats the strange thing, everyone makes different sizes. OTG doesn't make a 15mm they sell a 10mm + 5mm.
keoki makes a 15mm. i think its cheeper not to dubble stack.

ok obviously late to the thread ...

so is all this for the rear only or are you guys installing these up front as well?

I've got an '04 XB with 17x7 rims, with 40mm offset, 215/45 tires and looking to get the 15mm on the back ... I'm just trying to get the wheels out as flush as i can ... but this is my daily driver so i can't get too crazy i guess ... from this thread it sounds like 20mm will rub ... to add to this i have the TRD drop installed (2" ?) not sure if that changes anything but seems like it would ... I almost bought some 25mm for the rear but then i saw this thread ... doesn't seem like that would fly unless you had factory wheels and tires maybe

anyway ... so what about the front? ... it looks like even 15mm would rub with my setup ... i'd probably feel better with 10mm in the front ... if it is possible

it seems like you guys have about the same wheel/tire setup as i do so i'm hoping to get your input ... thanks!

edit: found this thread that pretty much answers my questions ...

well.........
the hub spacers are only for the rear.
the reason we do this is to get them to look even with the front and a 10 or 15mm will do that perfect.
also you wont have to worry to much with the TRD springs.
i had tein s-techs and i had no problems.

things have changed with KEOKI so don't go to him.
i changed my wheels to 16x8 +15 off set and was rubbin real bad , so i desided to do some camber.
keoki sells the -3 for $140 so i just wnt with him again.
after i sent payment he stoped talking to me.
i didnt here form him or get anything from him for a hole month so i tried getting a hold of him threw evey way i knew,
his email, scion life, club xb, scionapocalypse, paypal. he never respoded,
nothing at all. so i filled a paypla claim and after 2 week paypal rulled in my favor because he didn't answer any of there emails eather.
paypal got a hole 64 cent for his account to give back to me.
dude, there was no way i was going to let anyone jack me for $140.
so 2 months after i sent payment i called and talked to paypal about my options and they told me to call the police and report him as fraud and paypal would work directly with the police and give all info needed.
i guess he desided sending me the camber was better then going to jail so a week after that i got the camber.
