I saw your site with 17x9 sportmax 006 on rear. Are you running spacers or shims?

You need 15mm of spacing to fit the 9 in the back.

Hey - that's my xB that crash linked to in the 1st post.

I'm running:

17x8 up front w/ 215/40-17 Falken FK452
17x9 rear w/ 225/35-17 Falken FK451

No spacer required up front, 10mm hub shim & shaved a notch in the weld spot of OEM swaybar. Fitment is close but absolutely no rubbing in front or rear, even loaded down w/ 5 ppl. Car's dropped 1.8" with Eibach Pro Kit.

FYI since I have so much tire clearance with the setup, i would recommend going with a slightly larger sidewall in the rear next time. I saw some of the guys running these wheels in 18" setup, and the crazy rubbing issues they are having, so I got 35 series in the rear but next time i'd look for some slightly taller ones.

I plan to throw on a set of ksport coilovers in the very near future, to drop it quite a bit more, but part of the reason I went down from 18" rims down to 17 was to improve the ride quality. It's not too bad with 1 person but i'm sure all xb owners know that 5 ppl in the car with 35 series tires can get a bit bumpy! I just would do a slightly larger sidewall, and it can still go a bit lower.

How is your fitment for the 17x8s? Do you think I'd have any rubbing issues if I put 17x8 all around and ran , let's say, a 10-15mm spacer in the back? I'm lowered on DF210s.

You could easily run 17x8 all the way around with absolutely no rubbing.

If you're already putting on a 10 or 15mm spacer in the rear, why not stagger and do 9" in the rear? I've got mine dropped 2" and absolutely no rubbing after several months of use.
