Default Will it work?

Hey all, nice forum, glad to find it!
I purchased a 2004 Scion Xa and am purchasing some Konig Illusion blackball cut 17x7 rims with some 245/45r17 federal tires, I also purchased some Eibach 2" lowering springs and was wondering if Im going to run into any problems with rubbing or anything of that sort, Im new to smaller cars, so I dont really have any reference points, any comments/advice welcome!
From what i understand, I more than likely will not get a true 2 inch drop from these springs, more like 1.5, if that info helps any!

As far as the drop is concerned, I have the Eibach pro kit (which I think that is the one you are talking about) you are right in thinking that it will not be 2 inches, I got a 1.5 inch drop in the front and a 1.8 in the rear. I am currently running a 17x7 rim with a 205/40r17 tire and I do not have any problems with rubbing.
Hearing you ask about the tire rubbing, it really could come down to the offset on the wheel, I have a 45 offset and I do not have any problems. But your talking about a bigger tire so (which to me sounds a little on the large size for the wheel)
This will sound weird and I have already gotten my friends to make fun of me for this, but if is the bumper or fenders you are worried about rubbing against you could cut a piece of cardboard to the same radius of the wheel well, slide it down about 2 inches from the current height of the fender and try turning the wheels. It sounds cheesy but rubbing was a concern for me with my winter wheels and tires, but it worked. unfortunately I do not know of a way to check to see if you would have rubbing against the plastic in the wheel well.
I hope that helps!
If I come across anything on checking if your wheel wells rubbing, Ill be sure to post it here.

Thnx hmc! I,m actually gonna tone down the tires a bit, after doing a little homework, Ive decided that 245 is too wide, im looking at some 215 or maybe 225 now. Im purchasing items one at a time on leftovers from paychecks after bills, so lol, got two more rims to order before i get tires. And then ill probably be getting those one at a time.
