Default 2006 xB wheel covers -- how do I mount?

This is such a stupid question, but I need to ask it -- how do I mount the wheel cover? I hit a pot hole, bent the wheel, killed the tire and had to replace both but the dealer didn't put the wheel cover back on.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it on. I can get one side on then the other side won't pop in.

Is there some secret to this?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Just put one side in, hold it in on the one side and pound on the other side with your hand.

hahaha. this happened to me too.
don't forget to line up the valve, i don't know if it's your situation, but sometimes on the hubcaps there's a specific space to line up the valve with.

try that out, if that doesn't work, i don't know what will

Default DUH . . . . dumbass conclusion to this post

OK fellas, here's how much of an idiot I am, LOL.

My son and I were outside yesterday and I had the wheel cover I was trying to mount leaning against the wheel. I looked over at the car and noticed that my front wheel had a 5-spoke cover and the one I was trying to mount had 6. THEN I noticed that my front cover had a Scion logo and the one I was trying to mount had a Toyota icon.

When I drove by the place where I hit the pothole the following morning to retrieve the wheel cover that came off I GRABBED THE WRONG ONE. So now someone else is trying to mount a Scion cover that is too small for his wheel.

Oy . . . .
