Default Anyone else have this problem taking bumper off? pics

I cleared my headlights today and followed the DIY in the tech section here. I found it really helpful and easy to follow except for one small detail. After all the screws are removed I couldn't get the bumper to come loose. I finally found that there is a tab at the top of the bumper which connects to the headlight housing. Once I found this and pulled down on it I got the bumper to come off. I had to break out the touch-up paint though, made a couple of boo-boo's trying to get it off.

This is the hole that catches on the headlight housing.

Here is a somewhat blurry picture of the tab that connects to the hole in the bumper.

Another shot.

Maybe it was just me not seeing this point in the DIY or it's something new on the 2006 xB's. I'm not sure but either way hope this helps someone else who is trying to get the bumper off.

Both my friend and I had the exact same problem, only on the driver's side though. I think his is a 2005, too.
