anyone got pics of bagged xb's with lip kits, i think im might need to get one but just wanted to see what might look good and what kind of ground clearence there is, thanks

bagged BOP and I tried a Kenstyle kit. Definately didnt work for me. I was too low where aired out. Sold the kit. Would look hot if you didnt go TOO low.

I am running 215/40/18 tires which are about 3/4 inch larger diameter than the normal 215/35/18 size, so my ride stops coming down about .375 inches higher than with a 35 series tire. My lip clears level ground by no more than 1/16th of an inch fully aired out. If I had the 35 series tires it would squish for sure.

My car isn't bagged, but it will be soon enough. I have the ABS dynamics lip kit all around, and it's the same size as stock. It's a good looking kit, it fits PERFECT, and you can slam your box down to where you're used to having it.

I'm using the kenstyle kit and I bagged, difference is I set up my kit to accomodate the lip kit before I painted it. Therefore I can lay out with just an inch off the ground. So try not to blame the lip kit, blame your suspension if its not adjustable ...

 

see i really like the kenstyle, what do you mean that you set it up before you painted it, did you modify it? and how was the fit do the front and rear attach like the factory ones do? and like you didnt know this already but you have the sickest xb ive ever seen, i would really like to see it in person

 

Thank you for the compliments ... my bag system which is Chassis tech has the front struts that are adjustable like coil overs, so I was able to make adjustments to the ride height until I was happy with the drop. Also I put restrictors on my valves so the dump is slow and not so violent, the rear was never a problem ..

hmmm i like the kenstyle and the f-1 kit......decisions decisions... how much lower than stock do those kits hang in the front? and how do these lip kits attach, are they just like the factory ones?

 

I want to bag mine when I can afford it, but my kit hangs down 1 - 2 inches lower then stock, any ideas?

 

The F-1 kit I have and shown above on chipzxb is that tall. Run a slightly over sized tire. Diameter of the 215/40/18 is perfect.
