Box gets Black Eyes...
Just popped them out...
pushed side maker towards front of car and pulled outwards, popped right out...you can also get to it from the wheel well...
I then I used Black Stained Glass Paint. (pick up at walmart/paint store). Sanded the marker down and put a couple coats on.
Easy as that...took maybe 10-15 minutes, the just let paint dry.

Sanding will help clean the area and somewhat scuff the surface up to help the paint stick...just really quick it a fine grain sand paper. No clear cloat used...side marker is small enough I didnt worry about it, plus the stained glass paint leaves a nice glossy look.

Not feeling the black. Maybe if they were color matched to the car? I don't think the trade off for the "look" is worth the loss of night time vision. Would it not been easier and not so permenent to just do black coverlays? Or just do around the outer edges so you'd still have some reflective chrome left.
