I just got a clear one for my box, painted it on the back side to match the Hot Lava Orange. Got it for $40.00 + shipping on ebay. The store is called "kingofcloseouts"

 

Do they help with rock dings on the front of the hood to LOL!!! Because if it does let me know I would like to know LOL!!!

 

Sure does help with the hood dings... they just go straight to the windshield instead------ JUST KIDDING!!! They do help :-) (I love it when a product is decorative AND functional as well!)

 

Doest the rocks really go to the winshield instead or LOL!!! But i need to find out where to look for them because i am going to be trying to make clear hoods and that would make it easyier to protect them from braking or even getting scratched from rocks LOL!!!

 

Just kidding about the windshield! I found the clear ones fairly difficult to find. Located mine on ebay at a store called "king of closeouts" (all one word tho) which would lead one to believe that perhaps they are nearly extinct. I really dig mine, painted it orange to match the box. It still has a lot of reflective quality and looks cool from inside AND outside at night.

 

Post up some photos of that orange deflector and populate your profile FLYxB.!!

how does the clear one look with HID lights?

 

^^ No one yet knows how projectors would work with the clear bug deflector.
The consintrated light of a projector might not light up the top edje of the deflector.
Buy it, try it and report with photos if possible.

 

Just a little FYI reminder;

Projectors =/= HID's

You can have HID bulbs in a standard housing and halogen projector lamps. It's done often, too.
