has anyone seen an external visor for the box? you know, like the old metal ones on, say, a 1950 chevy or a peterbuilt conventional cab truck. i think the right one would look too cool. am also looking for an alternative to the rear spoiler. something more akin to a wing...closely mounted like the OEM types found on the 'sporty' camreys or maximas etc.

 

You're not the first one to ask that question. There's a guy in my car club who's been on the lookout for the same thing.

I've done my share of searches for them and they don't seem to exist. You'de probably have to either find a wing for a car whose back end is really close to our front end, or have one custom made out of fiberglass or something, which would probably be cost prohibitive, unless you have a good friend who does fiberglass. I would think that it should be only connected in three places, like both ends and the middle, to avoid creating drag. Let us know if you come up with anything!

 

as for the external visor. i have seen only one on a box. it was in mission viejo, CA. wasnt able to talk to the guy, but it did look good. was even with the top and only stuck out slighty. gl on the search for one.
