Hard to tell here, but this was before the "surgery..."




Until I had some weight (passengers) in the back, I really thought rubbing would not be an issue. Wrong as usual...

Complaining about this is kind of pointless, Since if you rub in the slightest your already to bare metal where you rub. I can see it slightly weakening the fender, but not enough to worry about, its not like the car isn't built out of tin foil anyway.

Although you can get more clearance by rolling, since you can actually push the whole fender out an amazing bit, if you take your time. But your pretty likely to peel the paint anyway........soooo there is your rust again.

I myself wouldve rolled and pulled the fender instead of cutting. But its all good ive known people that cut their fenders and their cars turned out fine.
