Default Got hit, recommendations?

So I got hit last wednesday nothing hug, some girl hits me with her mirror, breaks the housing on my taillight and drags her mirror about 8 inches down my back quarter panel leaving a nice dent. Well, the human nature being what it is, She supplied me with car insurance info that was well past expiried. So this one is on me. My ins company is going to try and get my $ back but it doesn't look to promissing. And thankfully, my rate won't go up. The estimate came out to about $650, so the Ins cut me a check for $150 and I cover the rest at the body shop. The big thing is I need to do is get the tails fixed because water in the tailight does not equal fun. I have stock tails, and was looking to upgrade, any recommendations?

As for the body work, my car has gigantic target on it that makes it prey to idiot's car doors, vagrant shopping carts, broken roofracks, and tall curbs. I feel like its a lost cause because literally every panel on my car is bumped, dented, or scratched in some way. The damage is just a dent, no paint is missing, so i'm almost content to leave it battle scared and regale people with tales of narrowly cheating death by a large tractor trailer. Anyone else faced this decision? thoughts?

Buy stock tails used for $50. Candy them.

And park further away from everything. The xB's panels are weak.

Got pics?

Try paintless dent removal.

As long as the paint is there, they can massage a lot of it out. Almost perfect. Dents are EZ, creases are harder.

Good luck!

I agree with tanakasan. Before you go to a body shop $$$ see if a paintless dent service can remove the dents and spend the $150 on that and a new taillight and you'll be good to go. The dent guys could probably take care of other dents you have as well at the same time.
