You'd need to order an HID kit that would fit in your current headlights. If you're running a 9005 bulb now, order a 9005 kit.

The connector that currently connects to the 9005 bulb would connect to the HID ballast.

Well, with the setup you have, you'd still have high beams...
Rather than plugging the 9005 connector into the bulb, you'll connect it to the ballast.
I recommend getting the digital kit. The low ignition voltage will allow you to run them without a relay harness.

When you flip the high beams, the low beam HID will cut out and you'll have the halogen low beam on.

Make sense?

Yep. And the bulb pigtails will connect to the igniter on the ballast.

So I finally got my HID kit today! I'm so excited! I managed to get it to work; but the brackets they sent I don't under stand how the hold the ballast...the ballast has nothing that I can put a screw into & the brackets are flat with one hole at one end and 4 holes at the other end it came with 6 nuts and screws....I really want to make sure its secure..any ideas?

Default for now....

Will this be a safe place to keep the ballast? It is right underneath the bar above my headlights...only place i could get the zip ties to work well...
