Default HID headlights overglare

Hi all, been a scionlifer for awhile and haven't posted in awhile. I tried searching but it was a little difficult on my phone.

Here's my situation, I have some ebay H4 HID bulbs in my 04 xB and I have overglare. When I line my car up to a flat surface to adjust my headlights they are alligned perfectly except when I back up a further distance There's a glare above the line I adjusted too. The results of this I get people driving towards me highbeaming me because I am blinding them with my headlights.

The bulbs I have are 6000K HID with a no name ballasts.

I was thinking of getting or making some eyelids to help prevent the overglare but not sure if that would help.

Thank you in advance

omg. not this again.

it is going to happen to matter what you do because the housings are not built for HID bulbs. unless you put projectors into the stock housings, it is not going to work.

Even with projectors, if they're poorly designed, you might not get a proper cutoff. Retrofitting proper projectors is the way to go.

I was thinking of going the route of www.lightwerkz.net but not sure if I want to fork out a lot of money for headlights.
