Default Hid Probs

i got a slight problem with my right HiD...
sometime when i turn on my lights it turns on then quickly turns off like it blew out but it didnt... any1 know whats going down and how to fix it?... its an 8k H4 bulb on a 04 xb...

battery issue? or is it that i have to wait for my car to switch the alternator?...

Check all of the fuses on the relay harness. Check the ground, check all of the connections.

also make sure if you have a harness, that its directly connected to the battery. or swap ballast, if it travels to the other side, you have a bad ballast.

good info to know. i'll have to recheck my wiring again also to make sure it's right. i have a suspicion that it's not 100% correct ...

That's uncanny. My HID kit did the exact same thing on the exact same side. I finally wired the passenger side up on a secondary switch so that I could pulse the power on and off independently of the other side, so it wouldn't look like I was flashing my headlights. Each had there own seperate relay, to the battery, using 10 gauge wire. It didn't matter which ballast was on it either. It stayed with the bulb. Meant to buy a replacement bulb, but finally got fed up and took out the projectors and went back to factory.
