i customized the blue batmobile overlays...[ PICS no 56k]
a while ago i started a topic about customizing the blue batmobile overlays....
well.... i did it. over all it looks good.
installation takes alot of patience but the outcome is worth it all.
i kind of messed up on one side as you can see in one picture but you cant see it if you're not looking for it.

First of all - I hate the stock tails - I still have them and think they stick out like a sore thumb on these dark cars - Camo like yours.
I like both the 'after' and the 'custom' you did. If I were doing it I'd likely stick with the 'afters' though. The less of that chinsee opaque plastic of the stock showing the better. That said, what you did looks way, way, better than stock.
Question! How much light is lost when these, or the smokes are applied? I don't want to get rear-ended (not that there's anything wrong with that)

thanks for the comments guys. i never thought of using a ruler. haha. its kind of a big accomplishment for me because i'm only 17 and was kinda scared to do it by myself.
jamesgang.... during the day if you turn on the lights its a little dim but at night there is no difference. and as you can tell in the pics, the reflectors still reflect.
thanks again!
