Default i got egged

a few days ago my car got egged outside my gf's house. thankfully, it was only one egg that combo-ed the driver side door and fender.

it apparently happened at night and i didnt notice until well into the next day. the egg had hardened and left a mean stain on the door/fender. i rinsed it off right away and took it home to see what i could do.

the claybar didnt work, i guess it was too late and the paint had already oxidized (or whatever egg does to it). i waxed and buffed but its still there. i havent really tried polish yet but i do have some meguiars scratch-X that i plan to try next wash.

it doesnt look like the prank was anything personal because it looked like they were driving around egging cars, there were a few eggs up and down the street but with my luck i was the only car they didnt miss. i dont really feel bad about this though, after reading some of the horror stories on these boards i still consider myself a bit lucky...

anyone have any other tips?

I know how your feeling man.
I dont have any tips. Mine left a small stain on the top but just fixed it with my new paint job.

Mine happend during the winter time. Looked to be intentional because it was on the top and i didnt realize it until I started home and thought I smelt eggs. I noticed gunk on the front window.

I hate to report this but... a couple of years ago, my xB was parked beside another car that got egged. A bit of the egg hit the roof of my car. I didn't catch it until about twelve hours later. Despite trying everything, I ended up with a 'stain' in the paint and had to, eventually, have it repainted to get rid of the issue.
