Default LED turns on mirrors?

Ok, I did a search but couldn't find anything. Has anyone added LED strips, pods, etc. to their factory mirrors for turns? I have looked online and found plenty of things I thought would work, but wanted to check here to see if someone had already done it.

I'm thinking of a small strip that could go on the under side of the mirrors with double sided tape, and amber in color.

Thanks to anyone who responds.

I have seen the covers like you have, and they are cool. I was trying to think of some way to accomplish the lighting without getting the covers. If not, I may get them.

Thanks.

I wanted to get the covers or replacement mirrors off e-bay or something. How hard is it to wire the mirrors to the turn signals?

I have these, but I paid slighly less then what newscionparts is selling them for. I special ordered them from myautofashion and they come painted in OEM black, silver & white only (I think..) There were directions but they were all in Japanese obviously since they are JDM. These were very hard to install b/c it involved removing the entire dash, so I had a shop install it for a hefty price

^ I got bB emblems from them and they were fake and the rear didn't have good adhesive, it was some spongy crap and after the elements got to it and started to come off, one day I just pulled it off and there was some of the adhesive left on that I tried really hard to get off and wouldnt come off. So now there's a outline of the whole bB emblem left on my hatch and its basically not coming off. So what I did to fix it was go to Super Autobacs and get a real bB emblem to cover it up. And that's why I don't trust them.
