OEM Fog Light install...
im installing factory fog lights for my xb and i can't get the relay switch off. anyone have any pointers to help me get it off?
the instuctions says to use a flathead, but i dont know how i would go about to get it off. knowing me, i'll probably break it off.

This is what I did, but it was not easy because you cannot see where it needs to be plugged in, and your hand will feel like it is too big to fit and work back there while holding the plug, and it takes some contortions to get the hand in the right position to work. As I remember, it seemed logical to use the right hand, but only the left hand can make the moves required. I tried for 30 minutes using whichever wrong hand it was, before figuring that out.
One tip is to use a finger tip to feel the receptacle and understand the location and orientation of the plug holes - like Braille.

For future reference, the vertical prongs of the relay go at the bottom, and the horizontal prongs go at the top. I was able to do it with my right hand, but it was more of a lucky jab than any real coordinated effort.
I hope that this helps!
