there is the top part of the front grill and the bottom.
well, the left section of the bottom grill fell off and i need a replacement. it looks like this now:

I had that happen once. I went found it in a parking lot later that day.

 

I'd recommend replacing everything with billet or other style grille. These are not too common to be sold by a private party. You might also check with your dealer for a direct replacement.

ive heard that is under warranty and they will replace it for you. Try the dealer.

I'm not sure where you are talking about? Are you talking about the drivers side section of the lower grille? I popped mine out looking for a way to duct air.

 

This is, apparantly, a common occurance and the replacement piece is not cheap...go to a billet grille!

It happened to me 2x. I found both pieces from 2 different xBs.

 

I lost mine and Toyota replaced it free....now the other side is missing! lol

 

i lost mine to, and "borrowed" one off of a local company's XB

i ended up going with a billet anyway.. looks hot!

 

your lucky for getting tme for 25 i had to pay around 44 a piece. . .anyway i dont prefer the look of billet grilles, not the look im going for. does anyone know another alternative to replace the "honeycomb" grilles?

 

Happens all the time. Start looking at every other xB you see and you will notice something. A lot of them will be missing it too...

 

^^ You are correct...my brother in law is missing a piece and I saw two xB's today both missing one each.

So are they covered? I looked at my last receipt and we didn't pay for it. The cost was 60.00 for some reason but we didn't care bc they didn't charge us.

geez, i didnt even realize the grills were falling off...so far hasnt happened to me and i havent noticed any missing on the xbs down here (well i never really look in the area anyways). just curious, how would it look with out the honeycomb grille?
