I'm planning to paint my car in the beginning of April. But I'm still debating what to do! I never thought about painting my car cause I didnt want to spend the money painting a brand new car. Plus im sure some of you have seen me asking questions about wheels. I'm trying to save up for wheels... Which will probably come in June. But a friend is going to hook me up, all I gotta pay for is the paint, and I'll throw in some extra money for his time. Since I am getting a replacement lip (because of an accident), I almost have an excuse to get it painted anyway haha.

I really like dark cars and black wheels. I am definately getting black wheels, and definately tinting my tail lights. My interior lights are blue, and im hoping to get more cathodes for my engine TCM isn't really me, so I'm excited to go darker, what I really wanted!

It is basically a matter of what color I want the body and grill, because I think its the second most noticable thing besides the wheels (which I already decided on gloss black). So vote in the poll and tell me your opinion, post pictures of bada$$ black/blue cars to reinforce your opinion.

Also, my grill is going to be custom made, billet style probably, with a custom emblem.. I'm gonna powder coat it accordingly.

So tell me, what should I get?!

 

deep purple almost black color. If you are painting your car try to get a color noone else has and is not on another car from the factory. Just my .02

 

I was thinking that also. Someone here has a dark purple xB with black grills and it looks really nice. I'm not sure if I really like that color. I'm just really a blue kind of person. But there are all sorts of blues so I really gotta look around and get some paint I like

 

not that I'm even a nascar fan, or that I personally would paint my box this color, but the color blue of Richard Petty's 43 car. I doubt a lot of peoble have that color and it could look kinda cool on the box.

That or hugger orange like the Dukes of Hazzard car (yet another redneck example). But the color is the shiznit, with black grilles, black wheels polished lip, dark tint....
