Default Rear bumper cover: repair or replace?

(The closest search got me was a 6 month old thread on xA, feel free to bash if I missed an obvious answer)

So, a few weeks after getting my box, I get hit in a parking lot:

(Please, ignore the dirt, this is what happens when you go a month without a wash and a 2 hour round-trip commute each day (; )

Now, with my insurance, it would cost more to pay them to fix it than to do it myself and it has been bugging me since it happened. So I thought I would ask for opinions here: do you think I would be better off replacing the entire cover, or attempting to get this repaired? At this time,I am not really looking to do a full kit, so would have to get a stock bumper.

Any estimates on what I am looking at for a repair, or what a fair price is for a replacement bumper?
Anyone have a 2006 BOP bumper cover they want to sell? (;

Thank you for any feedback or infomation you are able to provide.

A new cover from the dealer is $136 if you know someone it is $114 wholesale.
Now if you need the bottom lips they are around $90 a side.
Then you still need to have it painted.

Thank you for the quick reply. Do you know, by chance, how much of a difference in color I should expect if I go that route? I know when I bought the vehicle, it had 3 scratches/pits in it, and the dealer could not (or would not) fix them, claiming that they did not even have the color codes for the 2006 BOP.

Again, thank you for any suggestions or tips.

Your dealer leaves a little to be desired. Here are all the color codes for xB's courtesy of Darren:

I was hit in a parking lot a while back. This was the damage:

The plastic was not cracked so I was able to have it sanded down and repainted.
If the plastic is cracked, I would def. replace, otherwise, just have it repaired.

True, True. Couldn't you potentially end up paying what it would cost for the new bumper piece in actual labor to fix the cracked plastic....no? Either way it sucks. It seems like every day is a battle to keep the box free from dings, dents and other blemishes. Not becuase your not aware of your surroundings, but because other people just don't pay attention.
