OK, I need an answer to this one ASAP! I got Dual Halos, and they WERE running, but suddenly when i went to turn them on they did not, nor did the running lights!
The turn signals work, and the headlights and brights work, but the running lights nor the halos work! did I blow a fuse or a safety switch somewhere?
Please help!

well, if you open your fuse block and find a blown fuse, you'll have an answer. what kind of halo;s did you get? if you got some cheap ebay ones, the led itself probably went out or something.

Do your dash lights still work when the running lights are on?
Should prolly run a relay for the halos to keep from blowing fuses and placing such a high load on the circuit.

aight, problem is idk how do run a switch.... if i blow a fuse again though i most defiantly will though....no dashes are not going on.....
don't have a clue, i don't own a box, but this kinda information is all right there in your owners manual.
it is probably under the hood in the engine bay. it will be a plastic box that should unlatch and open fairly easily.

aight i found my fuse box, but how do i see what happened? it doesnt make much sense to me (looks like a bunch of boxes
) what am i looking for/ how do i fix it? whould it help if i took a pic?
your owners manual will tell you which fuse is for which circuit for your car. so you would look for that fuse, pull it out and see if the wire running through it is broken. if it is, that is probably why your running lights are out.
you might need to replace it with a stronger fuse because your halos might use more power than your original fuse was meant to break at.
i'm actually not that saavy with electronics, so you might want to talk to somebody like garage 1217, enginfineer, or squallheart, but i suppose they have better ways to spend their saturday nights.

I'm just all over Scionlife, regardless of forum, I just peak in on interesting sounding topics
or things I don't know about because who knows, I might even learn something.
Also, you did say the subject was an SOS, so it sounded like you wanted some urgent help.

can i actually go a size bigger? i dont think it draws too much power, and no it didnt tell me how much power.... ill update this with pics tomorrow of my headlights, for all you guys! btw it was a 10/red fuse that was blown, and i didnt have a spare... but my moms toyota highlander doesnt need a horn
so i took hers! all better! i am not sure about how that relay thing your talking about would work.... sorry im not really savvy with electronics.... i just like toying with em. so let me know how that relay would work.... if you could word it differently, or explain w/ pics that would be very helpful! kk so everything is fine! seriously i gotta give a big hand to the SL community for reacting so fast... and flawlessly! kk thanks!
