I live in south jersey right by 295 and 676 and was just wondering if anyone any car has had problems with cops regarding smoked tailights or smoke overlays. I am going for just a regular smoke; stealth smoke would be too dark and I know I would have problems.....just asking anyone in the south jersey area if you had an encounter what kind of ticket did you get and or warning?

Well, i live in PA, but i wouldnt think the laws would be drastically different. I had those overlays, and didnt have any trouble. I didnt like them a whole lot tho so i ended up taking them off and getting RC car tint from a hobby store and lighty smoked them with that, then clear coated them. Its just enuff 2 stand out against stock tails, but light enuff that u shouldn't get ne unwanted attention.

 

I offer both my standard 6/10 and lighter 3/10 tint for my Overlays. Even with the darker 6/10 tint, the lamps are still quite visible!
