I want to see gullwing doors like this. The shop that did this is in salt lake city and they do charge quite a bit from one of the phone calls I made, but they do a damn fine job. They did this convertible beetle as well, it was clean as all hell.

i think he was just sayin that the same company that did the gullwing doors on that jetta, made a really nice convertibly beetle. i would imagine gullwing doors on a convertible would be impossibly, unless you hinged the doors at the bottom of the window, then you would have to crawl into your car :D hahaha

No, the beetle did not have gullwing doors, it was just done at the same shop and was featured at the HIN west coast shows.

-Yes, I wanted to do this, but i thought the only way, would to go to West Coast Customs, and spend some $ to get it done, but "get it done...sponsor-free"! If not possible, then have them chop the top and take a 2"in. Section out of the body. Then hopefully have them perform the suicide doors in back...BUT, being sponsor-free, I'm figuring I should have this done in the year 2050, if I still have my box...lol or if i win the lotto hehe, don't mind me i'm in my xButopia *Dont let this get u off the SUBJECT of post!*
