Default Volunteer firefighter needs green fog lamps

Hi all, just wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. I am a volunteer firefigher in my community and we use green flashing lights in order to encourage people to allow us to pass on our way to the firehall. I already have a green LED dash light but I think people have a hard time seeing it during the daytime. I was thinking about installing green fog lights on my scion and have them alternate flashing. Does anyone know where I can get something like this or have any other suggestions? I appreciate any assistance you can offer. Thanks.

Thanks for the info guys. Do you think that people would notice the regular fogs with a green vinyl overlay or should I be shooting for someting in the way of a really bright green light? Thanks again!

I would add some green leds or do the overlay with a strobe kit. I think you would get more attention with the overlay and strobes. If you can find a green strobe thats your best bet the overlay would render the fog quit a bit I bet. If you can find a green strobe you could still use the fog and then use the strobes when you need them.

Hi there, you mention I should add green strobe lights, do you mean somewhere other than where the fogs are situated? Right now I don't have any fog lights installed in my xb. Thanks for your help!

I was thinking there mite be enough room for the strobe in the fog light set up I have seen alot of people just drill a hole in the side of it and mount leds so I dont see why you couldnt use a strobe there. I am not sure if you can even get a green stobe but if you cant then gust go with the overlay and a white strobe.

I have no idea of how good the color would be but this was the first thing I did find in a search (automotive colored strobe lights)

It is really a cheap price so I mite look a bit more. In life I have found 98% of the time you get what you pay for.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. My internet was down for a while.

Any how, yes I did the Rvinyl ones...they are NOT legal in CA so the headlight overlays only lasted a few days. I didnt feel like getting pulled over. And yes, the lights turned green....VERY green. If you put those little strobes in there, you'll definitly get the effect your looking for
