not my style but all the apc comments are true unfortunately they put stuff out in such great quantities and at such cheap prices that products suffer greatly.

 

God forbid someone actually wants to modify their car with something that it doesn't come with stock Do you dude, don't let others tell you what's cool... This will probably get IRV_USC and other close-minded people mad, but I've been thinking about putting supra taillights in the bumper of my xB (seen it on a toyota P/uin mini truckin') as for fitment, all taillights made for an xB or bB will fit any year xB.

He owns a US Spec Altezza, the IS300... he has every right to be angry at all these cheap knock-off uglies. He's right, Altezza taillights belong on one vehicle, and thats an Altezza.

 

The tail lights came and they are VERY cool, Altezza's or not and I'll be honest, I didn't know there WAS such a thing as an Altezza for them to go on. (Hiding face, filled with shame ):oops: The box they came in said nothing about them being APC, it read simply TY63O-UURW2 Toyota bB Rear Lamp and their was a large N just before it in blue on the box. This description appears to be from the manufacturer, not the seller that I got them from on eBay. However I'm illiterate enough in the Altezza department, so God knows, I might well be illiterate in this department too Perhaps these were shipped in a box other than what they are.

Will post pics of these on my Box, Big Jim, as soon as I get some daylight. They just went on today. Bit of a problem with the install in that the backup lights don't seem to want to work. The blinkers are wicked however, in that the white dot in the center of the middle light, is where the blinker is! You have to see it in action to really appreciate how cool it is, but worth the price of admission for sure. Now, if only we can get those back up lights working..........

Used silicone around the lens cover to hopefully keep out the weather as I do live in a cold and wet winter climate, here in Vermont. Hoping that will do the trick as it's what the sellers of these recommend. We'll see............

 

I understand that he owns a lexus IS300, but I think he needs to come of his high horse. Do I like altezza tai lights? no. not even on the IS300. but does that mean that they should only be on "altezzas"? no. I would have to say that a majority of the "tuner crowd" would disagree about putting parts form cars that don't belong there OEM. it's been done for years and not just by the "ricers"... my pops use to have zr-1 taillights in his el camino... mix and match and let the parts mingle making riles about what should and shouldn't go on a specific car takes all the fun out of moding.

Personally I like the TYC tails the best, those second and those gawd awful stoplight looking things some in last but again alot of people are rocking the stoplight and love them.
