Default xB Sunroof???

I have always wanted a sunroof, but it wasnt offered on the box. I have never seen one but I did find this page, http://www.cowboy-scion.com/Accessor...ch+Accessories and was curious if anyone has any input.

I would bet that the dealer isn't actually installing that they probably have an agreement with a local automotive accessory shop. you can usually expect to spend at least a grand for a good motorized aftermarket sunroof and it isn't worth cutting a gaping hole in your roof for one that isn't really nice.

I was thinking about getting one for a long time but actually with the high roof of the scion when i have the windows down i get more than enough wind and light and i don't really feel the need for one. also the sunroof won't go inside the roof when it is open it will stick up above the roofline when the glass is open which kinda bugs me

I'm going to give you a similar response... however, here's a few to get you on your way. Hint: the highlight terms in the url is the term I used to search. The last one is a diy install.

just to put this in perspective for the two of you. i find it more annoying when someone tells people to use search as you probably do when someone doesn't do a search first. the search function on this site does suck and i have read the tutorial and still can never find anything. in addition the two of you should probably redirect some of the time that you spend telling people to search and do a search for the forum rules and you will find that there is a rule that says before you tell someone to do a search you should give them some information to point them in the right direction. not everyone reads the site all day everyday and this user obviously doesn't know that this has been discussed before so if you see a post that you have read about before why don't you just not post and move on to something that interests you. because i think that there is a lot bigger problem with people telling people to use the search than the problem with duplicate threads

I have one no it wasn't dealer istalled but was offered and included in y loan. It was done at Auto Trim Design in Tukwila, WA. anyway I love it and it does go inside the roof as it is a a power inbuilt version.

Cody - great feedback, thanks. Good luck telling a super mod how to do his/her job.

The search function on this forum is actually extremely useful as burstaneurysm pointed out with the links that show the word sunroof as the search term.

Thanks again

should i have told him to search for the term "sunroof"?
or did i perhaps doubt his common sense a little bit much?

or should i list some of the numerous threads i found that deals with people asking the same/simliar question.. that what you wanted me to do in the first place, ne?
