Hey all!

This is my first post... I'm glad I found these forums since I'm in the market for a new car and am strongly considering an xB.

I have a few questions and would like to know your opinion about something.

1.) When will the '05s be available?
2.) Has there been any word about when the '05 limited series will be released? If not, when would you guess?
3.) What color do you think the '05 limited series will be? What do you personally want?

 

1) This summer (June IIRC)
2) Nope, no info.
3) Hopefully something not as flashy - I personally find the Lava color to be a little gaudy - maybe a nice electric blue or something. The tC will probably be RS2.0

The next rs for the xb is going to be the yellow. I've been told this by someone who spoke to the president of the scion sales division after telling him to many people have hte blue like my xb and that I was thinking about yellow and that when he told me also if you go to the scion dealer and get the large mag like book there are pics of a yellow one.

So you don't think there'll be an xB RS2.0?

I was hoping not to hear this. I'm not fond of yellow personally, and I thought it was so cool when I found out the Hot Lava xB existed. For some time I'd been wishing more orange cars were available versus yellow which seems so common lately.

 

the next RS is going to be a Fire Engine Red xA with a factory moonroof, all you have to do is search the forums

 

The Yellow vehicle in the Magazine is not a factory color or car. It is a custom paint job.

Sorry. :oops: I've actually looked through about 15 pages here, consisting of a few hundred topics, and don't recall seeing info on this.

I guess I was under the mistaken impression that each year there'd be an xB limited edition.

Whoever told you that the xB will be available in yellow is talking crazy talk! The one in the brochure's is Verone's custom painted ride. It's owned by Longo Scion in El Monte.

The Absolutely Red xA will be sooner than we think. Red already shows up as a color preference now on the dealer-only website for xAs, just like the hot lava showed up a few months before the xB RS1 pricing was available.

Yes, additional confirmation on the red xA... it would be nice to see one with chrome rims.

I wonder what the quantity will be? Probably 1,800 in the series, my guess, because wave three dealers will have access to it.

 

I was talking the the East coast Rep yesterday at the VIP Event, and the Release Series 2 will indeed be a red xA, and it will hit dealers mid to late July of this year. They just put the order into Japan last Friday.

 

I've heard the same here, the next Release Series is going to be a xB in red

 

I think this whole topic should be put to rest....its getting old to see a new one every day
