The multimeter thing is good to know I usally just use a test light to find out what is blown. Is the resitance the same on any amperage fuse?

It's about the same...bottom line is that if the fuse is blown, the meter will read 'overload' or max out depending on what kind of dmm you have since it would be an open circuit. The resistance between the terminals would be infinite if it were open.

Also, I'd reconsider the test light thing...test lights can send current through the circuit you're testing and possibly damage electrical components, or even set off your airbags if you're not careful where you put it...test lights were cool before there was so much tech in cars but it's a bad idea with modern cars.

Default one more thing?

A friend of mine has a Corolla and it has a safety design feature that if the "brake lights" are not functioning correctly, it will not let you get it outta 'park' because it is a safety hazard. Her car did this after they rebuilt the rear end of her car from an accident and it kept blowing the fuse because of a "kinked" wire for the brake lights.

I don't know if this info will help, but thought every little bit helps...

So......

fuses
Brake lights
kinked connections

might be one of these....
